Special Day

Our sealing!! I can't even put into words how i felt about this day and how it's already affected my life in the best way possible. It diffidently gives me more comfort knowing now that if anything were to happen to us that we will be able to live together for ever through god's eternal plan. What a blessing that is. I love having the gospel in my life and the promises that we were given that day. I am so grateful for all the love and support that was given that day and all the days leading up to this point from our loving family and friends thanks guys!

This first year went by so fast. I know I have said this a million times but I literally can't believe hazel is already 1! Time went by so fast and this little girl just keeps getting cuter! I love everything about her she is the sweetest little girl ever.

The Holiday Season

I've been trying to be more grateful for everything that I have Thanksgiving day gave me a huge opportunity to list off the many things that I am grateful for just to list a few, I am so grateful for my savior and the atonement that he suffered for me to be able to repent and fix the things that I need to be able to return to him some day. I'm so very grateful for my cute little family my amazing husband and my sweet little hazel. They are truly the highlight of my day, I love them with all that I have. I'm also very grateful for my family from  just my immediate family to my in laws and extended family. I don't know where I would be without you guys.

This beautiful Christmas season has brought me so much joy. To really reflect on my savior and all the many things his done for me. I'm so grateful for all that I have. I can't wait for the new year to see where it will take us. It's time to make new goals, new friends, be a better person. Wahooo for 2013!! the year's just keep getting better.

I feel like I need to write out my thoughts and gratitude for everything that I've been given and all the many blessing we are receiving. For those of you who didn't know we got to bless our sweet daughter hazel on September 30. What an incredible day it was, filled with tears of joy and the spirit of the savior. Hazel looked so stinking cute in her white dress with a hot pink bow and hot pink shoes.

On another note my aunt Lois on my dad's side passed away on Wednesday the 26th two days before her anniversary. Im at peace knowing her husband came and took her home to be able to spend that special day together. Though she may be missed here I know I will see her again. Her death made me realize more and more that I can't waste my time  being mad at somebody or not letting them know you love them. When I last saw my aunt in April I definitely didn't think it was the last time I would ever see her. May she now rest from all the pain that she had in this life and be free. R.i.p. Lois till we meet again.

I'm really bad at this blogging thing if you can't tell since I haven't posted anything in four months and I only have two other posts. So i figured i would update everyone on whats going on in the life of the Scott's. Hazel is now 6 months old and growing like a champ. Weighing a whole 15 pounds I feel like all she does is want to eat. Everything is finally getting into place for us. Derek just got ordained with the melchizedek priesthood and will be blessing hazel on Sunday the 30 which we are so exited about. Then we will be getting sealed in the temple for all time and eternity. I can't wait to be sealed to my best friend and my family forever. It's the best feeling in the world, I seriously can't contain my excitement!. Derek is working on becoming level two at his job which will give him a raise. I finally made the decision to get my school done which I feel really good about. We are also still working on lifevantage on the side and are so grateful  for this wonderful opportunity to come into our lives. That's all I can think of for now. More to come later.

We got approved for wic which is so nice but the real reason I'm posting is to share how much little hazel has grown. She is now 8 lbs 11 oz 22 inches long wahoo my little girl just keeps growing!! She will be 2 months on the 18th man time sure does fly

I will do my best to keep up with whats going on with us. For those who didn't know we got married back in October and just recently had our baby girl hazel marie march 18 :) Im new to this whole blogging thing so will see how it goes
